I'm as old as television, but hopefully no where near as venal or vapid. more

I was born when my people were making the transition from referring to ourselves as "colored" and were proudly calling ourselves "Negroes".

I am as old as television and have spent the majority of my life trying really hard not to be as vapidly money grubbing as that medium.
